How karmaarth is different from other NGO’s?

Karmaarth a vocational training center cater to the skilling needs of the vast employable population residing in urban rural areas. Through this initiative, Karmaarth expects to raise the target population’s status and living standards, leading to overall community development in the long run.

Thus the education model of Karmaarth was strengthened further by making it more comprehensive and holistic by initiating different job oriented short-term courses for different categories of students and of different age groups. Community mobilization and family counseling and career guidance have been an integral aspect of development of uneducated youth in order to create an environment for children education in the community. Karmaarth not only consolidate its various activities but also provide quality education to the children in terms of proper infrastructure and improved teaching learning pedagogies in specialized areas to make them competitive for meeting the demands of the changing industry scenario.

"Karmaarth" - An initiative by Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society to enhance employability among the underprivileged youth of the Indian society.

In its attempt to bridge the Education – Employability gap and create talent pool among the under – privileged sections of our society, a leading educational institution under the aegis of Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society announced the setting up of Karmaarth – a non governmental charitable organization in 2010 with a objective to serve as a vocational training center for the under – privileged section of the society by providing employability skills to youth. JIMS KARMAARTH will provide relevant skills to the unemployed youth for making them employable for jobs in various industry sectors such as telecommunications, mobile repairing, beauty Culture, Designing, Photography and Radio Programming. The planned courses, length of training, courseware and pedagogy come from past training experience and extensive research conducted by Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society.
